Peter:
You have been given some great advice from all that have replied.
A few of items that I will expand upon.
1) If possible arrive early enough the day before to allow you to go and
take a quick tour of the lab location. Tell the proctors that you are
sitting the lab the next day and they will give you the quick tour. this can
help with some anxiety of seeing the athmosphere once before the actual lab.

2) Eat a good meal the night before BUT this is not a time to try anything
new!! Eat something that you know agrees with you so you have no suprises
the next day:-)

3) You have seen some tips about reading the lab first, etc. Hopefully you
have been studying and doing practice labe with a strategy / method that you
have been using. Don;t change that routine too much on lab day.

4) Do ask the proctors for clarification. The answer thet you receive will
depend on how you ask the question. if you ask - what should i do here, you
will probably not get anything useful. If you say, I am interpreting this
requirement to mean ...., is this correct? Or, I can resolve this
requirement in two ways (briefly expalin the ways) and ask for the
clarification you need. I can tell you, a well phrased question can glean a
lot of good information. Listen to what they say, even if they tell you
something slightly off topic, it may be a good clue ( I am talking from
personal experience - if i would have listened closely enough, I would not
have had an expensive lunch that day:-)

Best of luck. you have prepared, so go and conquer the beast!!!

Thanks
Larry Hadrava
