The 15-inch MacBook Pro is an amazing device - no doubt about it. You can
really take advantage of the superior video and audio software, and things
like GNS3 run like a champ.
For Win apps that you need access to, you can do Windows in Parallels or
VMWare. They are both superb so just see who gives you the best deal. For
Windows Apps that need unrestricted access to the hardware, you can take
advantage of the built-in Bootcamp. I do this for Microsoft Flight Sim X.
When you purchase from Apple - do not use them for RAM upgrades - too
pricey. You can go with Crucial or someone like that and do it yourself.
Also, if you are on a tight budget for this, be sure to keep an eye on the
factory refurbished machines that become available here:

Have fun with your shiny new Mac.

Subject: MacBook pro - OT
Hi,
Sorry.. This is Totally OT .. I know that..
I'm a network eng.. Working a lot on pre-sales (visio diags etc) and lots of
routing voice etc..
I wanna get rid of my Dell and get a mac pro for work and fun..
Which one should I get .. The 13.3 , 15 or 17? I don't want anything very
heavy because I move a lot.. So I don't think of getting the 17 inch.. Any
recommendations from Mac users working on networks and stuff??
Regards,
