Yeah. All of the above here. 4:30 am is a good time to wake up and
learn Cisco. I can say speed/typos seem to be the biggest issue for me
when I am timing and scoring as though in exam. There is a pace that
needs to be kept . This can be what leads to anxiety and ultimately
giving up. Don't give up, find dedicated time and work on speed
accuracy. Joe Astrino had a good quote basically saying that on lunch
breaks write base configs by just looking at the blue print. If you
can't do this for almost everything, you are not ready. That makes
plenty of sense to me. Also need to know the decision trees for all
protocols like the router is an intimate family member. Speed,
accuracy, tenacity and very understanding family members (including
the switch/router) is what it takes.
