EIGRP multicast TTL

Hi guys,

I have been doing some work with EIGRP and I notice the TTL for the
multicast hello packets is set to '2'.

Is this to cater for NBMA hub & spoke style deployments where the hub will
resend the multicast hello out to each spoke?

"[Expert Info (Note/Sequence): "Time To Live" > 1 for a packet sent to the
Local Network Control Block (see RFC 3171)]"

RFC 3171 doesn't seem to shed much light on this.

Cheers,

-Aaron.
