Hi Hamid,
Route-Map is like a cli tool which is used to apply a policy to a particular
neighbor or to a particular route which depends upon the design or purpose u
r using in a particular network to allow or deny certain routes

U can attach this route-map to all kinds of redistribution purposes and
also apply to a default route for conditional advertisement and also u can
use route map for Policy Routing and also force ur local traffic or transit
traffic to choose a different route rather than going for a route lookup .

So route-map comes handy to you when u want to apply a policy to a
particular prefix.

Hope this might help u

Also look out for Markos links and go thru some configuration guide for some
detailed explananion.
