From my home router:
You can test this by shut and no shut. If you test too many times, dyndns
will likely suspend your account ... this is what they did to me. They
thought my router or someone with my account was essentially performing a
dos attack on them, and they shut down my account so it would not affect
their servers.
Debug command is: debug ip ddns update
!
ip ddns update method http
HTTP
add http://xx:xx@members.dyndns.org/nic/update?system=dyndns&hostname=
<h>&myip=<a>
interval maximum 0 0 3 0
interval minimum 0 0 2 0
!
interface FastEthernet0/0
ip ddns update hostname xx.dyndns.org
ip ddns update http host xx.dyndns.org
!
