Hello Marc,
Preparing for the exams in the CCNP and CCIP tracks is possibly a good idea.
Together, these two tracks cover a large part of the R&S Blueprint.
The R&S (lab) will be a completely different animal to any of the
professional exams you have ever taken, you have to know the technologies
and the interaction between them, in much, much more detail compared to any
professional level exam.
However, in terms of a basic preparation, and for the fact that you will be
concentrating on one single topic at a time - think stepping stones idea -
instead of being distracted by all the other topics on the blueprint..it is
worth thinking about.
