It is strange that the user cannot connect using other PC's so that
ruled out the account being corrupted. So I try to re-image that PC or
do some sort of system restore..

Subject: OT-Windows Issue
Dear Experts,
Sorry for this OT, but its really a strange windows issue.
I don't thing Its a network related issues.
We have a domain network with 200+ users.
AD implemented (all PCs windows 7, server all windows server 2008)
20+ vlan
There are some servers (email, portal, web server, etc., servers in DMZ
zone)
We have 32 public IPs (but only used 8 public IPs)
We have Macafee Enterprises antivirus server
6500 core switch, 3560 edge switches, ASA, juniper SSG, bluecoat,
ironport,
packet shaper, CISCO VOIP, etc (consider its a normal network)
Everything was working fine until we hire a system administrator. Only
this
type of strange issues are coming now-a-days.
Issue No.1
A particular user in his particular computer can not able to access
internet. When I accidentally changed internet explorer Internet Options
->Security -> Security Level for this zone -> If I lower this level, its
working fine. If I put medium level its not working, but other users
account
in this particular computer working fine with "medium level" without any
issues.
Issue No.2
The issue was only a particular user with his particular computer cannot
able to access our local web pages, (before he was able to access more
than
a year without any issues) I mean inside our server vlan networks (our
office portal, email OWA, helpdesk, our company website via browser) and
he
can able to access internet. But in the same PC with different user
account
can able to access everything without any issues. Proxy setting is ok
and
proxy exceptions also double ok. But the particular user in particular
computer can not able to access locally hosted websites which is
excepted in
the proxy settings, but other users can able to access everything from
that
particular PC without any issues. And that particular user can able to
access everything from all other PCs with his user account.
Issue No.3
When the particular user logging in his particular computer with his
account..after network address acquired from DHCP..its freezing a
error
message showing "Windows Explorer has stopped working" blabla..bla..
Actually its not hangingonly mouse and keyboard activity disconnected
from
the PC and looks like hanged.
But in this same computer all other user accounts (I checked with three
domain user accounts) working fine without any issue. The issue with
only a
particular user, and I noticed one thing if I removed the network cable
and
login with the particular user account, its workingnot showing any
errors.
But If I plug the network cableafter network address acquiredits
showing
the error message Windows Explorer has stopped working" and the
keyboard,
mouse activity removed from the PC.
I believe its not a virus issues, we have enterprises macAfee virus
solution
with latest updates. so 90 percent no virus issues.
All I want to know is
Is there any way from the domain controller can able to control a PC
activity like this via group policy or user policy, or any policy or
script?
and how?
I believe our system administrator playing something via policy or any
third
party tools, I am a network engineer not a system administrator. I
really
appreciate if anyone of you gentleman can help me to solve this issues?
