Re: Motivation for CCIE Lab Exams

Everyone is a little different about this.

1. The motivation is all self-induced. Whether your reasons are
financial, or technical, or you just like a challenge, or you're just
bored, or whatever... It's a decision you reach on your own. Kinda
like asking why you decided to hunt this board down and post that
message! :) There's obviously a reason other than idle curiosity. The
drive to push further, learn more and strive for the CCIE is much the same.

2. Well... Presumably you'd reverse engineer WHY you failed and come
up with a plan to not repeat those same mistakes in the future! Even if
you fail more than once, you should at least make new and exciting mistakes.

We've all failed at some point in our lives. Whether the CCIE lab exam,
or something else, rarely will you find someone who has never failed.
Failures alone do not define a person. What they do afterwards does.

Best of luck in your preparation!
