Dude - Anyone can search on your name and judge you, your total attitude,
and of course your personality.
Let me be clear here - If some 1-D-10-T comes along and tries to be
insulting, cute, or just rude... the Nukes come out and I guess we'll
figure out who's got more wit and humor along the way.
The group is for study and some of the personabilities on this list have
used it for a place to take out pot shots on other members now for years and
years even.
Hell - If I did not know better I'd think it was the place to be for actual
CCIE's to pick on and poop on CCIE students.
Back in the day the list had well over 20,000+ registered members and I'd
imagine that number has swelled considerably.
Agree?
Wonder why no one ever posts their questions and concerns here?
Think about it?
That's right... The Flamers. (If you have nothing nice to say... why not
either unicast or else keep it in the closet.)
A CCIE Candidate actually has to have a skin of steel to post here due to
the nature and character of people (I dare say just like you) who take pot
shots at people trying to learn.
That's not what Paul envisioned this list being here for. At least not as I
understand it.
This is what I read about flaming:
Remain courteous to your fellow list members. Check the tone of your post
to verify it can not be viewed as anything else but courteous and friendly.
Because inflection is not carried across the written word, a post you view
as friendly may be taken by another list member as a flame. Also, never
respond to an inflamitory or inappropriate comment. Remember we have over
10,000 participants. Even if only 1/2 of 1% of the members responds, that is
still over 50 messages! Do not respond to any postings that are not related
to computer networking. Please send all abuse reports to
abuse_at_groupstudy.com.
So...
If more of these petty and idiotic comments come out of the woodwork - I
don't care if you've got 6 CCIE's and a PH.D...
I'll take it personally and shut that person down on anyone's behalf and
hopefully whatever M-0-R-0-N steps to the plate will start to get a clue.
Now...
If we do disagree on of these points... Fine. Let's agree to disagree.
P.S. - You posted publicly - If you have so many private replies... why not
copy all - I think you are a CCIE and do know how to "Copy All" don't
you....
Don't forget to OT the post.
So...
