The first rule of CCIE exam, is that you don't talk about CCIE exam
contents.
The second rule is, Cisco doesn't ask hardware/software-dependent
questions where it doesn't make any sense.
CEF was extended at least two times, first to 16 and then to 32
paths. In real life the question is is the underlying hardware can
support it, and if the protocol modules are new enough to be capable
of actually use that feature.
In the lab you won't find as many parallel links. And nobody will hear
your scream (that's true also BTW for space).
