Cisco Terminal Server Charater String Match

Is there a way to match a specific string on the sync lines of a terminal
server and have it replaced by another string?

For example, when someone is connected to line 2001 and they try to execute
the format command, format gets replaced with exit.

Is this possible, if so what is it called and can someone point me to the
right direction.
