I just labbed this up and let me tell you guys what i saw:
R1 is connected to R2
R1's interface has an MTU of 1500
R2's interface has an MTU of 1000
R1 is advertising 100 routes to R2
and i do NOT see any issues whatsoever.
My question is should i increase the number of routes to 200? At what point
would we see a problem, has anyone tested this?
Brian you said earlier that you saw that in a production network, how many
routes did you have there? Do you remember?
