The priority will take effect immediately and doesn't require a reboot. Only
on
the renumbering of the switches in the stack.

PS- You are correct in making switch 1 priority 15 to stay the master.

Also if you always want switch #1 to be master set
the priority to 15
(switch 1 priority 15). Once this is done I dont think
there is a
non-disruptive way to make switch # 1 the master as there is no
preempt. You will need to reload the stack. I would be interested to
see if
there is a better way? anyone?
