Layer 3 security preventions

All,

I am writing a document with layer 3 security preventions, it concerns layer
stuffs, so no access like RADIUS, SSH, logging etc. Below the list I got
till so far:

7 VRRP / HSRP track interfaces;
7 Dynamic routing protocol authentication;
7 Quality of Service;
7 VLAN's;
7 Up-links;
7 Route filtering;
7 Default passive interfaces.

Hopefully you can help me with this.
