Re: time based route

You can create a GRE tunnel between your local IP and 10.1.1.1 in the case
of the second interface.

You then create a TRACK object, tracking the status of your GRE tunnel
interface.

You then change the next hop of your default route (second one) to the
destination of the IP address you have given to your new tunnel, AND give it
a higher AD AND at the end of the route, tag this to the track object you
have created. Which means your route will be installed as a preferred
default when the tunnel is UP/UP.

Then you create an ACL with a time-range, which filters GRE traffic based on
the time of the day. Which means your tunnel interface can only become UP/UP
in during the day/night (as appropriate).

Although a hack. it should do the trick for you. I am not aware of a Cisco
"feature" that can do this much easier though.

Hope that helps a little.
