Ok,
The best suggestion I can offer is understand the hardware architecture. If
you know about the 6500 then the 7600 should be a breeze.
Here's a checklist of things that I would know
Type of linecards and their functions? 67xx vs other flavors 65xx,63xx,61xx
What are the max number of ports based on configuration (FastE or GigE
config)
Number of PPS forwarded by the box?
Which LC's are fabric enabled, and if not what happens to the LC if the
system restarts?
Understand the switch fabric?
Be able to explain the capacity of the switch fabric?
If you really want to impress them explain the buses and what they are used
for?
Function of the MSFC/PFC, also memory capacity of the SUP's. What could the
possible routing capacity of the particular SUP i.e best practices states
only 10,000 OSPF routes with the SUP720?
Difference between RSP720 vs SUP720?
How QOS is implemented on particular LC?
How is 7609 and 7613 different?
Is there any differences between 6500 VS. 7600 IOS code?
This could go one all day, but just wanted to add my two cents.......
