Cost pre-bestpath in Inter-AS Environment

Hi,

In AS1, Site A has "*redistributed connected route-map* *TEST"* where TEST
has "*set extcommunity cost pre-bestpath 129 100"*

In AS2, site B when I check the routes received from site A, in the *"show
ip bgp vpn all <prefix>"* command, I cannot see the (*
Cost:pre-bestpath:129:100)* although I can see *"RT:100:100"*

With this behavior, I am assuming the cost pre-bestpath does not pass over
an inter-AS link but just want to make sure with you guys if that is true
