switchport config under interace or port-channel?

Hi Experts,
Is there a difference to apply configuration of switchport (mode trunk, encap,
nonegotiate) under interface or under port channel?

int range fa0/19-20switchport mode trunkswithport trunk...channel-group 1

or int range fa0/19-20
channel-group 1
then int port-channel 1switchport mode trunkswithport trunk..
