Re: CCDA prerequisite

CCxP certifications DO require the underlying Associate level certification
or an active CCIE as a prerequisite.

For instance:

   CCNP Prerequisites
 Valid CCNA<https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccna?view=overview>certification
or any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.
