Re: weird problem with ping (I know, shame on me)

disconnect the user PC for this test.
on the switch, on user vlan SVI, configure this particular user's IP address
as secondary IP.
and now do the same ping from 6500 sourcing it from this secondary IP.

This will let us know if the problem is on the PC or on the Path somewhere.
