OT: SSL VPN vs IPSec VPN - Which one is more secure ?

There is not a big difference between these two except on the configuration
side.

I have been reading some articles that say SSL VPN (L4 security) can be
compromised by man-in-the-middle attack, but I know that IPSec VPN (L3
security) can also be compromised with the same attack.

So, I am not sure which could be more secure.
