it is seen on a 2A/S, no issues there.
I don't have many T modules, they are more expensive than A/S
so you don't use it for labs.
The one I tested is a 1T on a 2610XM.
It might be that newer T modules are flexible.
If you do a "show line" you might get a message indicating:
Line(s) not in async mode -or- with no hardware support:
2-231
"with no hardware support" clearly states that some lines do not
support async, IMHO.
Looking at the hardware spec sheets, I see that the HWIC-4T does
async. So there might be our missunderstanding.
