Hi

As long as RRM is properly working, the channel must be fine,,, if there is
no microwave or other things like in hospital...
Maybe signal is strong enough, but noise causes the slowness.

Do you see any suspicious traffic going out from your client? Some of vendor
software sending lots of traffic once client connected to network. And if
you are using bluetooth on client, turn it off to see whether problem
solves.
