Does your IOS support the "modem-type" command? Also, once you are
connected, and you "show line" do you see that the speed is stable, or do
you see it at 9600 then you refresh it's at 115000 etc. Also, do you you
see an "*" next to the applicable line ? As though the line appears to be in
use when in fact it's not.
