OT - How to verify grey market gear is genuine Cisco?

Hey all,

I know there is a link to a serial number verification database on
cisco.comsomewhere. What type of Cisco access to you need to see
utilize that?
Partner level access? If someone here knows, can you please provide the URL?
Are there any other ways to verify hardware authenticity?
