mls policing nad trust dscp

Hello Experts,

I am testing policing on a switch trunk. mls qos is enabled. My problem is
that commands "mls qos trust dscp" and "service policy input XXX" are
exclusive. When I enter command "service policy input XXX" on an interface,
"mls qos trust dscp" is quietly removed. As a result policing works OK, but
the switch removes all dscp markings.

I am doing this on C3550. Is it normal on this platform ?
