Nico,

There is one port on each Nexus5K in the Port Channel. That is how VPC
works.

The problem is the configs on the two 5K's do not match in some way.

It looks like you have only one port in the channel, and AFAIK the channel
needs more than 1 port to come up.

I am two ports of a 6509 in an L3 LACP config to simulate a server with two
NICS.
one port going to an N2K and the other gointg to a second N2K. Each N2K is
connected to its respective N5K in a VPC mode.
This is a supported topolgy.

Not sure why the port-channel is down------------->> on the 6509 the
portchannel is ip and I can ping the IP.
any help appreciated.
