Even with a Guest VLAN, you want some kind of authentication so you know and
have a record of who is on your Guest VLAN and using the Internet with your
ISP connection. If for nothing else, legal liability.

The auth-fail VLAN is just that. If all methods of authentication fail,
then the user is dumped into a VLAN that goes nowhere.

I need more clarity on auth-fail vlan Vs Guest vlan .
I think one is when dot1x fails and other when MAB (MAC authentication
bypass) fails.

Can someone please clarify ?
