That's a bold statement and a statement at which most will laugh and ignore.
Diff. people have diff. views of CCIE as a certification .
But when Cisco say that you are a CCIE .. that means you are expert in
technology as well as product and you can handle related stuff . So if
you say that you are leaving race just because of new hardware in lab
.. the fact is you shd first get the feel of hardware / architecture
etc before you jump on CCIE lab . Just think why Cisco is introducing
new hardware in lab .. does Cisco has some personal rivalry with you
?? No .. that's because Cisco see a market going in that direction ..
So better clear you view abt CCIE :)
