Hi Experts,

Anyone used to face the problem like me as following ?

My C2960G-48TC-L is experiencing with increasing Number of "Total output
drops",

The currunt port configuration is

interface GigabitEthernet0/42

switchport mode trunk
hold-queue 4096 in
hold-queue 4096 out

This port connecting Juniper ISG1000.

GigabitEthernet0/42 is up, line protocol is up (connected)
Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 001e.79b5.98aa (bia 001e.79b5.98aa)
  Description:
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec,
     reliability 255/255, txload 91/255, rxload 72/255
  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
  Keepalive set (10 sec)
  Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, media type is 10/100/1000BaseTX
input flow-control is off, output flow-control is unsupported
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
Last input never, output 00:00:00, output hang never
Last clearing of "show interface" counters 00:47:00
Input queue: 0/4096/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 13973
  Queueing strategy: fifo
  Output queue: 0/4096 (size/max)
  5 minute input rate 283709000 bits/sec, 81227 packets/sec
  5 minute output rate 360446000 bits/sec, 91608 packets/sec
221238391 packets input, 91509183985 bytes, 0 no buffer
     Received 0 broadcasts (0 multicasts)
     0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles
     0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored
     0 watchdog, 0 multicast, 0 pause input
0 input packets with dribble condition detected
     251606682 packets output, 119990227117 bytes, 0 underruns
0 output errors, 0 collisions, 0 interface resets
     0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred
0 lost carrier, 0 no carrier, 0 PAUSE output
0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out

MLS QOS not yet globally enabled.

Anyone, please answer me,

Even, MLS QOS not yet enabled,

Does this problem related to ASIC Egress Queue or not ?

Can i solve by changing queue-set's threshold ?

mls qos queue-set output 1 threshold 4 400 400 50 400

If yes, can you reccomend this threshold value ?

------------------------

I'm suspect on Egress ASIC queue is over subscribed or not ,

Let's see this output command.
