I would advise to read and understand the "Developing IP Multicast
Networks". It took me several reads to understand it well. Then start
practicing using your favorite technology workbook.

Last but not least, IMHO, learning MCAST is time consuming like learning all
IGP protocols together, but the points you will get in the lab for MCAST are
much much less then you will get for the IGP section, so start MCAST
learning only after you have very solid IGP knowledge, and don't waste too
much time on it (compared to other non-core subjects)/
