Read EVERY word of the QoS task (including the task heading!) very carefully. There is typically going to be language that steers you in one direction or another.

If there is truly no language that guides you and the choice of tool is up to you, I guide students to take the more modern approach, since this is most likely what Cisco would be grading for IMHO.

Subject: qos configuration behavior

Hello, experts!

I`m wondering about qos configuration method, when restriction are not set. In particular, what method should we use in lab exam, if git task
like: shape ip packets from XX to YY kbps?

It can be done either with GTS and MQC. Should we follow the minimum configuration priciple and use CAR to get out points, or it`s just okay to use either method which satisfy task requiremens?

The more variants came into play when talking about Frame-Relay as there are so many ways to achieve same goal.

Hope to hear your thoughts soon,
Sergey
