Duplex configuration to the lab

Dear Experts,

I'm trying post on GS. Apologize if you received duplicated e-mails...

I have a small question about the best approach into the lab.
For duplex configuration on ethernet ports, is best practice set
switches and router ports staticly to full-duplex or both sides to auto
negociate?
I supose than the mode is not explicit specified?
I focus on both, TS and config sections for R&S.
