RE: difference between named and numbered access-list

To my knowledge, debugs still require numbered ACLs.

Any time you need to use reflexive ACL's you must use named ACL's

ip http access-class must be numbered standard ACL port-map must use numbered standard ACL

To use object-groups and non consecutive port ranges you must use named ACL's

When you are using older technologies like tcp intercept or crypto map based VPN sometimes object-groups don't work in ACL's

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Most everything else is interchangeable.
