Hi Imran,
I believe this is normal behavior.
At any time Prepending AS will be added before inserting the local AS..
Hence in R2
30 is inserted into AS path before 10 - hence the AS path - "10 30"
IN R6. When it receive the prefix from R3, it will be having AS Path "10".
Now prepending AS will be added to the path, as follow..
AS Path - "30 10"
And when this prefix is announced to any EBGP peer, local AS (20) will be
added after prepended AS.
In this case when R6 pass this prefix to another EBGP Peer, it will be "20
30 10"
Note: AS PATH should be always read from right to left direction *[
<-<-<-<--- ] *(like Arabic reading ;-) )
