Design

Hi All

I wish to start looking to some of best practices in design of a
campus network .

Can someone please let me know whats the best place to start at ? I
only have know how of routing and switching ( but that's all from lab
environment point of view and IOS from development / test point of
view )

Things that I am looking at is

Scalability / future growth
3 tier architecture etc
Security concerns
Switching things to take care ( dot1x , MAB etc ) and Firewall etc
Upload and download limits
Products suggestion at various layers

SO in all as many of you are involved in designing a mid size campus
design ; can you please help me to start on this .. Any good reference
/ white papers etc
