docu / terminal software available for SP track

This topic has been discussed before, however I would like to clarify what
applies to the SP track:

Is the only docu available the command reference and the configuration guide
?

eg. this doc is NOT available ?

What terminal software is to be expected ?
Putty (as in R&S) ?
