I am using PIX 515E for labbing. The only thing I can't do is WebVPN and
vpnLB. Of course it has no SSM & CF/AUX support.

You can use missing feature on rental online racks! - for SSL vpn and IPS
42xx.

I guess, for IPS you'll only need 2-3 online 5 hrs lab (say 15 hrs) and SSL
vpn may be you can practice on ASA VM. there is a ASA opensource project :)
