Subject: GNS3 with 3560 switch
Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2010 01:58:04 +0800

Hi all:
I use GNS3 plus one 3560G switch to do router-on-a-stick lab, the nic is HP
NC364T QuadPort which support 802.1q VLAN.

But the the switch and router can not ping each other.

Using show cdp nei command on the 3560, the switch can see the router
(fa0/0.147 only ) but just for a while, later will disappear.

The router can not see switch totally. Anyone have such experience ?

The config is below:

Router: 3 subinterface fa0/0.147(native), fa0/0.100(vlan 100), fa0/0.200(
vlan 200)
           encap dot1q.
vlan 100 and vlan 200 configred with ip.

Swtich: gi0/2 (trunk encap do1q) which is connect to the router fa0/0
           vlan 147 is native vlan
vlan 100 and vlan 200 configured witch ip.

HP NC364T QuadPort: 802.1q enable
                     vlan 147(native); vlan 100 and vlan 200.

Router---------->cloud(3560 switch)-------->win2003 server witch SP2.

Thanks and Regards

Shaofeng
