OSPF route selection

Hi all,

Need some help with this OSPF LSA selection/preference issue.

It seems basic, but I'm pulling my hair out on this one. :)

I have routes coming from multiple sources. They are all inter-area
routes and I see them listed as type 3 (Summary Net Link States) in
the OSPF database.

However, no matter how I manipulate the metric (cost), it prefers one
of the routes. They have the same prefix length.

Here's a snapshot from the database and you can see the routing bit is
set on the route with the HIGHER metric!

Summary Net Link States (Area 6)

Routing Bit Set on this LSA
  LS age: 626
  Options: (No TOS-capability, DC, Upward)
  LS Type: Summary Links(Network)
Link State ID: 192.168.1.100 (summary Network Number)
  Advertising Router: 192.168.1.1
  LS Seq Number: 80000001
  Checksum: 0xA1EB
  Length: 28
  Network Mask: /32
        TOS: 0 Metric: 65

  LS age: 3396
  Options: (No TOS-capability, DC, Upward)
  LS Type: Summary Links(Network)
Link State ID: 192.168.1.100 (summary Network Number)
  Advertising Router: 192.168.1.2
  LS Seq Number: 80000002
  Checksum: 0x7E91
  Length: 28
  Network Mask: /32
        TOS: 0 Metric: 4

Any ideas? Also, I'm testing it out on dynamips...so I haven't ruled
that possibility out yet.
