Hi Masroor,

The Bridge ID is 1 less than the lowest MAC address on ethernet interfaces
on the switch (you would find this by sh int | inc Ethernet|bia and the
looking for the lowest value)

However
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps700/products_tech_note09186a00801c9b4e.shtml#l2_macindicates
that you cant change the MAC address on a 3550 and it doesn't
appear to be supported on the 3560 (however other platforms can support this
capability)

In terms of the CCIE lab, option 2 appears to be the only real option unless
you want to play around with things like spanningtree guard root on
interfaces facing other switches but that may not be such a great idea...
