I typically avoid interjecting in discussions like this, but let me give you
an idea where I am coming from...

Master of Divinity, 1992 Southwestern Seminary
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Trinity College, 1987
Ordained Southern Baptist Minister
10 years in active ministry
MBA, CCIE #14256, CCNP/DP/VP

There are many strong feelings on many sides of all of these issues, and
honestly there are many good points to be made in many of the issues. The
tone of most of the messages on these topics clearly generate more "heat"
than "light"... I would propose the following:

1. I would like to call on everyone to remember the casualties of many
conflicts and acknowledge that there is equal blame to go around. Humanity
is imperfect by nature even on the best of days...
2. Committing to staying on topics that help achieve the CCIE or practical
points regarding networking technology
3. Remaining positive and affirming with respect for others

Joe
