     Not sure what to tell you. While I'm reasonably *nix savvy I am not
a programmer. I wouldn't know how to go about troubleshooting the GNS
application as far as how environmentals are handled. I find it
interesting that you are able to produce this issue with different
operating systems on different host machines with different IOS on your
virtual routers. You might try taking this issue to the hacki or GNS3
forums. Other than that, do your best with the options you have and
press on. Sorry for the motivational speech. It's all I can do.
