Is there a reason you want to run iBGP with synchronization? It isn't on
the blueprint.

Just a couple old rules with synchronization.

Make sure the BGP router-id and the IGP router-id match if using OSPF or
EIGRP. The routes must be learned thru an IGP before the routes will be
added to the BGP table. As long as those two things are satisfied
synchronization should work.

I would recommend the BGPv4 command reference, it speaks about it in there.
Can't find my copy right now though.
