Re: EEM Question on OID

You can actually use the OID in the format a mib-walk on the console (show
snmp mib) gives you for an EEM script. There's no need remember the full
OID.

For example, if you are given "cpmCPUTotalTable.1.3", just tag a ".1" on the
end of the value in your EEM script:

event manager applet cpu
 event snmp oid "cpmCPUTotalTable.1.3.1" get-type exact entry-op gt
entry-val "0" poll-interval 2
 action 1.0 syslog msg "OMGLOLROFL CPU is high!!"

Router#
*Mar 1 00:06:03.579: %HA_EM-6-LOG: cpu: OMGLOLROFL CPU is high!!
*Mar 1 00:06:05.967: %HA_EM-6-LOG: cpu: OMGLOLROFL CPU is high!!

If they give you the object name or the OID, you can use either.
