Hello Group,
I'm doing some MST research and I am pretty comfortable with it except I
dont understand the purpose of the MST revision number?
In most configurations I have seen it is just set to "1" and it seems to me
the only purpose it has is to influence the outcome of the md5 hash to
ensure integrity between all switches within an mstp region?
Is anybody able to explain?
Many thanks.
Garth
