Dear All,
Thanks for reply
by default IP routing is enable on NetIron XMR switches .
Infact I have 20 port 10/100/1000 module .I have created one routed port
with static ip address.
port 18 has assigned ip address 10.1.1.1 /24 and connect to PC -10.1.1.2 /24
but unable to ping directly connected PC and from PC can not ping 10.1.1.1
which is assigned to port 18.
It is very strange problem
When I checked show arp on switch ,I can see PC ARP .Firewall is disabled
on PC.
I changed cable and even slot but same problem .
I have compared firmware with One working but same problem .
When I tried to sniff ,I observed that when switch send icmp echo to PC ,PC
send echo-reply but switch can not understand and it is getting timed out.
any output
Thanks
Prashant
