Hello Raj,

Are you talking about auto qos voip on a Catalyst 3560 or 3750? If so, then
you should be able to modify the default settings. Auto qos is just a macro
that enters stock commands.

I am not sure what you mean when you say you want to "change it without
touching the current policy". Do you mean you want to add QoS parameters to
interfaces that are not affected by the auto qos? This should not be a
problem. But the auto qos macro does make changes to the global maps which
you will have to account for.

On these devices you can trust using interface commands, or you can trust
using the MQC. Here is a trivial example that shows the syntax:

class-map match-all test
  match ip precedence 5
!
!
policy-map trust
  class test
    trust ip-precedence

This policy would trust ip precedence, only if the traffic is already marked
precedence 5.
