Precisely.

Cisco ACE, CSM and a range of F5 family of products (very cool) do offer
lots of features including XML gateway, SSL offloading etc. But if you're
just looking to setup a simple LB you can probably get away with IOS SLB.

When you start playing around, you will find its configuration much like ACE
so if you've got any ACE experience (or even MQC experience) you can set
things up pretty quickly.

Just please ensure you know the amount of load you're going to inject in.
